Stakeholders for Future
Stakeholders for Future: Empowerment of future leaders with Data Science

The goal is to establish a "Stakeholders for Future Academy" to promote cross-generational and cross-disciplinary research and knowledge transfer on mobility behavior in times of pandemic and climate change, using Hamburg and Germany as examples. The focus is on teaching methodological skills in the field of data science, generating new, data-based insights in the research field of mobility, and developing a digital toolbox with freely available data and open source code (e.g., Python) for visualizing the consequences of changing mobility patterns that stakeholders and other interested parties can use in their everyday lives. The project is also accompanied by a critical reflection of the methods and tools used - both by the students and the researchers. The project is explicitly transdisciplinary and intergenerational, as it is not only implemented with employees and students of the University of Hamburg, but also with schools (Stadtteilschule Stellingen) and volunteers from Greenpeace as well as full-time mobility experts from the Hamburg Greenpeace office.
